Christmas trees in the park

San Jose, California

Every year, the city of San Jose presents "Christmas in the Park," a collection of
decorated trees, choral groups and displays with motor-animated characters. Crowds packed
the paths that weaved throughout the park between the displays.

I found a narrow strip between two paths with dozens of decorated trees. I set the camera
on a post, set its timer, and waited for the timer light to begin flashing before jumping
over the railing to become part of the display. (I didn't have the guts to pose next to
the animated characters.)
