Widest Main Street

Onawa, Iowa

"Onawa claims to be home to the Widest Main Street in the USA. Whether or not it is is yet
to be challenged. Onawa is about 35 miles south of Sioux City and is also the birthplace
of the Eskimo Pie ice cream bar, although there isn't anything in town to mark this
