Pranks amongst scientists

Sable Island, Nova Scotia, Canada

"We were on Sable Island doing fieldwork. We found this school crossing sign at the west
end of the island. We visit the island every year and this is the first time we have seen
it. Lots of stuff gets washed up but it is quite baffling as to how this ended up here.
One season a deer carcass washed up...and the island is 150km from the mainland!" --Damian
