"They were constructing a new fence to keep them safe from terrorists and other threats.
The guards don't like people taking pictures near the building. They won't arrest you, but
they will ask you not to do it. After all, it's legal. I've heard that they are planning
to move the embassy out of the city to a place with less traffic and people. They must
think it's necessary, but I think they are pretty safe where they are." --Lars
