Well driller

Brownfield, west Texas

"My husband built a cable tool drilling rig patterned after pictures of antique drilling
rigs. He has almost completed our water well in the back yard at 150 ft. In the process he
has brought up petrified wood, fossilized shells, what looks like petrified seeds, and a
variety of river rock. Our well has been the talk of the local coffee shops here. Of
course, it wrecked our back yard, but with the water from the well, we'll soon be able to
restore the landscaping." --Betty
