"At an altitude of about 14,900 feet (4,517 meters), I think this might qualify for the
highest Phoon. The view is across Chungara Lake. The top of the volcano is 20,828 feet
(6,350 meters). It is mid-summer right now in the tropics (only 18 degrees south of the
equator). It snowed a few minutes after the photo was taken." --Mike
