Half Dome

Yosemite, California

"We were heading down from Clouds' Rest to Yosemite Valley along some very steep
switchbacks when it started to rain. My sister was leading the charge, singing happily in
her pink poncho. As she turned one corner, Half Dome loomed beyond her. I yelled at her to
freeze. She stopped in an almost phoonlike position. I got the camera and positioned her
in a REAL phoon, which Tessa would like to point out was a particularly difficult as she
still had her 25-pound backpack on underneath the plastic poncho." --Kaitlyn
