Mushpot Cave

Lava Beds National Monument, California

"After two days of exploring caves in the National Monument, we went to the lit, tourist
cave. The red lighting on the floor 'gives the appearance of lava.' Phooning on the
'lava' was deemed necessary." --Keith

Editor: When I inquired about the suit and tie, I learned that he bought the 3-piece wool
suit at a thrift job to be his outfit of choice when caving, just for the fun of it.
