Landmark bell
"When we saw this bell alongside the road, we remembered from our history class that thereis one for every historical mission on the California coast--21 in all.
"However...it wasn't until some time after taking this photo that we found out that this
isn't one of the bells. Ones like this appear at many points along the path once called El
Camino Real that runs northward through California, connecting the missions." --Doris
