To world peace
Santa Clara, CaliforniaHunting for another geocache, Anna and I rounded a corner to see this monstrosity, a
rocket with "children from different nations" in mosaic on the top and base. A plaque from
1965 expressed the view, in the flowery way that some plaques can, that the children would
grow up to bring peace to the world. Anna and I laughed and shook our heads. "Not a
chance."
