Children of the Corn

Whiting, Iowa

"Katie is in an Iowa corn field. This isn't the 'Field of Dreams'...it's actually where
the horror movie 'Children of the Corn' was filmed in the '80s. All of the
parent-murdering little monsters from the movie came out of these same corn fields.

"Whiting is a remarkably quiet small town of about 300 people or so that has one
restaurant, one gas station, two bars, and a post office. That's about it. There's also
a big flag pole in the middle of Main street that you have to drive around, but since
there isn't much traffic there, it's never been that big of a deal." --Kevin
