Kuru memorial

"This memorial is for the capsizing of the steam boat Kuru at Lake Näsijärvi during a
howling autumn storm, September 7, 1929. 138 passengers drowned; 22 survived. in the
background is Särkänniemi amusement park and Näsinneula (seen in another of our Phoon
