Hilton South Point

Phoenix, Arizona

"I don't have the nerve I had in my younger years... I was scared to stand on one foot up
that high. I could see the ground two stories below. It was as if the ground near my rear
foot had a powerful magnet... my foot would rise a couple of inches then slam down.... I
was shaking the whole time...my whole body!

"I had to count to three at the top of my lungs so my friend Barth, 100 yards away, would
know when to snap the picture. On two and a half I lifted my foot. Several onlookers
yelled in fun, 'Don't do it! Don't jump!'" --David

Thanks to David for phooning (and for the photo idea).
