"Geocaching brought us to this specific spot to ponder an otherwise ordinary grove of
trees in an otherwise ordinary neighborhood park. We were touched... The plaque to the
left reads, 'These redwoods grew from the seeds of El Palo Alto that orbited Earth on
board the Challenger STS-51F, July 29-August 6, 1985. On a later mission, Challenger and
the lives of seven astronauts were lost in an explosion on January 28, 1986.'" --Doris
