"I cautiously went up and phooned at the top of the steps. I was a bit embarrassed to come
down and find that this young man had been waiting patiently for me. I told him that this
is my favorite Victorian in all of San Francisco. He said, 'We like it, too.' He bought
the top two floors (half a block deep, 4,000 square feet) in 1997. We both phooned for the
camera, but my timing was off."--Doris
