1901 cannon mount bunker
Presidio, San Francisco, CaliforniaYes, I really did phoon on that. I grabbed both rails and then carefully got one foot onto
each rail (while still holding on). Then I slowly moved all but my feet into the Phoon
pose. Then I lifted my rear leg (and also fell forward) while the photographer took
multiple photos, and I selected this one from the bunch. But to you, it looks like I'm
motionless, and that's all that matters! :)
A sign on the structure notes that this was used between 1901 and 1917 as a 13mm rifle
mount.
