Oon before Phoon

Editor: Steve, now a legislative analyst for the state of California, was once a
highschool classmate and neighbor of mine. He and his brother used to say "oon" to make
each other laugh. Why? I don't know. But their incessant use of "oon" stuck in my brain
and influenced my choice of "phoon" as a sound to connect to this pose, after I had done a
handful in 1980.
