Carmel-by-the-Sea, California"Carmel is clearly a destination town for tourists and artists. Here, at the end of one
narrow vine-covered alley, is hidden a Thomas Kinkade art gallery. I was trying not to
break the seriousness of this Phooning moment when customers at a pottery shop on the
other side of the windows I faced seemed a little perplexed.
"My husband and I visited Carmel on our honeymoon 29 years ago, and my folks stayed there
on their honeymoon 55 years ago."--Jan
