Mazinaw Rock

On Mazinaw Lake, Bon Echo Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada

"The Mazinaw Rock is 300 feet high and overlooks one of the deepest lakes in Ontario at
500 feet. There are 260 native pictographs along the bottom of the cliff that are
estimated to be between 300 and 600 years old. They are best explored by canoe. The
Mazinaw Rock was a popular subject for several of the famous Group of Seven artists that
painted many Canadian wilderness scenes in the first half of the twentieth century."
