Mount Diablo summit

California

"Within the building, there is a small enclosed area with a 3' x 3' cutaway in the floor.
The actual rocky summit protudes 4-5" above the floor and you can stand on it. The walls
have 'interpretive' photos and drawings around you so you don't really 'feel' you're on
the summit. It would have been nice to have a window or something! You cannot imagine the
thrill. The bathrooms are clean.

"Mt. Diablo is approximately 3800 feet above sea level. From this summit, 35 out of
California's 53 counties are said to be visible on a clear day." --Chris
