Editor: That pedestal was higher than I thought! I pulled a shoulder muscle on my first
attempt at getting onto it. On my second attempt, with a running jump, I got my chest onto
the pedestal, with legs dangling below. The best I could do was writhe far enough onto the
pedestal that I could prop myself up, something I didn't really want to do with my brand
new pants, but "had to finish" now that I'd gone this far. I had handed my camera to some
gal who happened to be walking by. She got to watch this whole event, as did traffic that
was backed up at an adjacent traffic light.
