Castle
Sleeping Giant State Park, Hamden, Connecticut
"After church, my friend Susan and I went for a hike, taking the (really steep) blue
trail. It started to rain and we switched to an easier (but longer) route to the top. That
didn't prevent me from missing a step and falling off the hillside, scratching my arm up
and torquing my knee and ankle pretty badly. None of THAT stopped me from climbing the
castle at the top, climbing into the tiny window cut out, and doing my best Phoon in that
space and succeeding to simultaneously (1) not grimace and (2) not plummet to my death."
