World's Largest Scale Model of the Solar System

Peoria, Illinois

"The Lakeview Museum in Peoria Illinois is the center of model. At this location is the
Sun and it is 36 feet in diameter. Pluto is the size of a golf ball and is 50 miles away
in the town of Kewanee. Every year, the museum hosts the 'Interplanetary Bicycle Ride',
where cyclists ride their bikes to each of the planets.
