Methuselah tree
On Skyline Blvd, near Bear Gulch Rd, Santa Cruz, CaliforniaDirections
A coworker told me about this 1800 year old redwood tree about 45 minutes from where we
live. He noted how it is just off the road--indeed, you can see it from road--and also
noted how most people don't even know about it, even those across the street about 100
feet away in the dirt parking lot for a big network of trails. We were delighted to tell
everyone nearby about it, and they were thankful.
