Tuckerbox dog

Gundagai, New South Wales, Australia

"'Dog on the tuckerbox' is a legendary Australian tale. In about 1850, Bullocky Bill's ox
cart broke down. His dog hopped up on the tuckerbox (food box) and protected it while he
worked on the cart. Every November, Australian families in the area travel to the area to
celebrate. The store keeper was a bit miffed that we phooned the 'icon'." --Simon

Thanks to Morgan for phooning and to Simon for the photo idea.
